Nothing is better than a day when you are too sick to go to work but not sick enough to sleep all day–especially if it’s a winter day. Curl up with a blanket in front of the fire and open a book. It’s a day of stolen pleasure, guaranteed to make you feel better physically and mentally. Reading can soothe the day’s stress and lull you into restful sleep. Of course, you have to go back to work the next day…
